The Story of BJSSSLUG

Bharat Jakat Santarh Saota Seched Lakchar Utnao Gounta (BJSSSLUG) is a registered tribal NGO and society founded by Rabindra Hansda on December 17, 2021. The organization is dedicated to promoting Santali education (with a focus on the Olchiki script), cultural preservation, and holistic community development.

The name reflects our mission and values: Bharat Jakat represents tribal identity in the broader Indian community; Saota Seched refers to the Santali Olchiki script and our commitment to literacy; Lakchar highlights cultural preservation, arts, and traditions; and Utnao Gounta symbolizes progress, development, and upliftment.

Guided by the vision of empowering communities through knowledge, culture, and self-reliance, BJSSSLUG advances education, fosters cultural pride, and supports sustainable development in tribal regions.
